Firefighter 1998-1999

Planned and implemented the intranet for the Venice's Firefighters Command integrating Unix SCO, Linux, Windows systems (order of 40 PC's networked) with WAN and dial-up connections. Developed client/server web-oriented applications.

Applet for teletext browsing through internet 1998

Java applet for teletext browsing via Internet. You can know more about Teletext on Web (italian language only) or just try it (only pages from 100 to 120) or to try the version 2.0 . Developed for MicroTex

Data-collecting and reporting applications 1996-1997

MS-Windows application for the acquisition of data from measurement instruments through the serial port, importing sketches from WMF files, WYSIWYG interface, report printing, exporting of the collect data to Excel and to the AS/400 server.

Porting Teletext library from Windows to Linux 1996

I have ported a Windows DLL for the handling of a teletext ISA board to Linux, writing a kernel module for MicroTex.

Distributed information system 1996

I have collaborated in the development of a wide project based on an MS Windows NT server and remote clients connected through ISDN or phone dial-up, with RAS protocol. The remote clients accessed through ODBC the server which adopted RAID disks and managed the data base with MS SQL Server.

Image Analysis & Archiving 1993-1995

I have developed Windows applications with MS Visual C++ for camera grabbing of images (with Truevision Targa+, Matrox Marvel II) and their archiving (MS Access via ODBC). I have written procedures for the filtering, computation of measures on the images, etc. For MicroTex
