Matlab program to find the pose and orientation of a camera from a square-on-the-wall picture of known real side size. Related issues are Affine Geometry, Quaternions (Horn), Edge detection, Binarization with Auto-thresholding.
Matlab program to simulate the control of an autonomous vehicle equipped with a camera which have to reach and track an unknown path (the world is black the path is white). Related issues are Kalman Filtering, System Theory, Computer Vision.
Design and development of an Automatic Teller Machine as an embedded system. Related issues are Real-Time Object Oriented Development, ObjecTime.
Laurea Thesis

Mentor: Prof. Ruggero Frezza. Title:Vision Technics applied to fruit grading systems: a step toward the omofocal camera. The thesis is in collaboration with Biovision, a company specialized in machine vision systems for the automatic inspection of biological products.

Matlab procedures and a Java application have been developed. $n$ views of fruit are recostruncted onto a sphere concentric to the fruit itself to avoid the perspective projective distortion of the fruit superficial defects. A new theoretical paradigm for a camera is developed. Related issues are Image Warping, Computer Vision, Image Correlation, Image Reconstruction, Computational Geometry, Palimpsest algorithms.
